It’s that time of year when the annual
ten-day long celebration, “Fiesta Days” occurs and the City plays host to
numerous activities including: bands;
rides; games; concerts; parades; gatherings and much more! Enjoy this time with family and friends

DUNKIN DONUTS HONORS SPECIAL OLYMPIANS
AND MCHENRY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND MCHENRY POLICE HONORS DUNKIN DONUTS!
Dunkin Donuts honored Special
Olympians at their Elm Street location, which included one of their
employees.
Dunkin Donuts also took the
opportunity to honor the City of McHenry Police Department of their commitment
to Special Olympics and all the work the officers do throughout the year
and have done so for numerous years including, volunteering and raising money
for Special Olympics including: Polar
Plunge; Cop on Top; Torch Run; attending the Special Olympics in Normal,
Illinois as well as other events. This
is a commitment, which is ongoing, and a great partnership between Dunkin
Donuts, Special Olympics and City of McHenry Police Department.
Chief John Jones presented a plaque to
Naimesh Upadhyaya, Multi-Unit Manager of Dunkin Donuts, for their commitment to
Special Olympics. Mayor Jett, Chief Jones, Deputy Chief Birk,
Commanders Funk and Walsh, Pioneer Co-CEO Sam Tenuto, Pioneer Center Athletic Director
for Special Olympics and others were present from Pioneer Center,
Superintendent Ryan McTague and Assistant Superintendent Carol Vallianatos from
District 156 were present.
This is an ongoing commitment and a great partnership between Dunkin Donuts, Special Olympics, City of McHenry Police Department, as well as our community!

An all
American Classic-Mac and Cheese will play the leading role in the Mac and
Cheese Throwdown on Friday July 21 at Mixin Mingle in Downtown McHenry!
